<p><img src="https://beitjala-city.org/images/1_1.jpg" /></p><p>Within the efforts of Beit Jala Municipality to plan for sustainable urban growth and through the Integrated cities and urban development project funded by the World Bank and implemented by the Ministry of Local Government through the Local Authorities Development and Lending Fund, solar panels were installed on the roof of the municipality, as this system works to generate electricity from Solar energy with a capacity of 50-60 kilowatts during the day.</p>

The team began photographing the religious, touristic and archaeological sites in addition to the main streets of Beit Jala using this modern technology to promote the city as an important touristic attraction in Palestine.</p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p> </p>
