Located at the main entrance, the winery offers visitors the opportunity to explore its wine shop and taste a selection of Cremisan wines, including Hamdani, Jandali, Dabouqi, Baladi, and Cabernet Sauvignon.
The winery was established in 1885 to help ensure the monastery’s self-sufficiency and provide employment for the poor in the surrounding area. Cremisan wines are produced organically, with the vineyards cultivated without the use of pesticides or chemical substances.
It is worth noting that most grape varieties are harvested by hand under the supervision of Cremisan’s experts and are grown in the winery’s own vineyards in Beit Jamal and Cremisan.
